Az I Eat It....

Bob Haas' Cracked Crab, located at 6006 E Cave Creek Road, in Cave Creek, Az. is simply one of the worst seafood restaurants that I have ever endured!  I chose to try it because I had obtained a $25 gift card from Restaurants.com, so the celebration of Father's Day and my wife's birthday seemed like a logical time.  Upon entering, it was nice to see indoor and outdoor seating, but it was well over 100 degrees, so we were going to be inside!  It didn't much matter, because it was very warm inside, too!  If they have AC, they sure had it turned up above 80 degrees!  Not pleasant!  My older son, Mike, ordered only the New England Clam Chowder - took two or three spoonfuls, said it was awful and left it!  My younger son, Arky2, ordered the Catfish.  The waiter returned a short time later, saying they were out of Catfish, but the Walleye was good - well, it wasn't either!  I ordered a Platter Combo, of some sort, with a soft-shelled crab, a stuffed crab cake, and some garlic shrimp.  It was terrible!  The Shrimp Cocktail appetizers were just okay, but it was obvious that none of our seafood was fresh, but rather it was frozen(or just plain bad, I suppose!), except for my wife, Linda, who had ordered the stuffed salmon - and loved it!  So, I suppose, you may want to try that.  Either way, it was a truly forgettable dinner!
