The DaVinci Code - starring Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou and Ian McKellan

Okay - I know it's been out for awhile, but hey - I've been traveling, and since it's summertime, I'm sure that a lot of you have not yet seen it - so here goes:

     There has been a lot of press, regarding the religious implications that this film may represent, but if you have no preconceived ideas, judgements or objections, you will find it to be filled with twists, intrigue and entertainment!  Running time was approximately 2 & 1/2 hours, and it seemed as though it was about to end at several different points, but director Ron Howard made sure that he tied up all of the loose ends, leaving the audience satisfied.  And Tom Hanks' acting, along with the beautiful Audrey Tautou, made it evermore bearable!  If there was a drawback, it was the number of sub-plots that had to be tied in, and that they could not make sense earlier, making the film seem a little confusing, at times - but still worth the price of admission - or at least a sure-to-rent DVD!
