The Devil Wears Prada - starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Adrian Grenier

Directed by - Who cares???  This is a film that only women will like - well....except for men like the one that Stanley Tucci portrays - again!  Lots of eye candy, for sure, and Meryl Streep does a great job of acting the 'dragon lady,' as the Editor-in-Chief of  'Runway,' a fictitious, elite and powerful fashion industry magazine.  The fetching Hathaway does a credible job as her new 2nd assistant, and Tucci does a great job as....well....Tucci(did you see 'Shall We Dance?' - same character!)  Grenier, as Hathaway's boyfriend, is the same character as he is starring in 'Entourage'(HBO), except he is not rich and he is not the star. 
     The character relationships, that this film tries to develop, are minimal, and while the women can relate to the sniping and back-stabbing(the men will say, 'Yeah, so what!'), it would have been better for the theaters to simply post a sign saying, "Pick her up in two hours and then take her shopping!"  You'll win points for sitting through this with her, but there must be an easier way to score!
