Having found some cash, at my workplace, apparently mislaid by a co-worker, I sent out an e-mail stating, "If anyone can tell me where they lost $100, please let me know, and it will be returned." Within minutes, Joel replied, "Casino Arizona slots, last weekend!"
A woman's miserly husband left her $30,000 for his funeral expenses, and she spent all of it: Funeral - $6,000; Donation to the Church - $500; Wake - $500; Memorial stone - $23,000. When hearing of this, her best friend remarked, "My God, the Memorial stone cost $23,000? How big is it?" The widow replied, "Four and 1/2 carats!"
