Terror alert:  High - No liquids, gels, sprays, tubes, etc., are allowed in airline carry-on luggage, due to recently discovered security threats!  I wonder if the Muslims/Islamists are asked to remove their turbans for inspection, as my 79-year old mother is asked to remove her shoes?  Baby formula is an exception, so I can imagine that the next threat will be discovered in an opaque baby bottle!....65% of a Ford Mustang's components come from either the U.S. or Canada, while 90% of a Toyota Siena's components come from those regions!....Need gas, or got gas?  Many restaurant chains are feeling the crunch, as diners are supposedly opting to dine at home, spending their money at the gas pump instead.  Not true - at least not the entire truth.  These restaurants are attempting to rationalize their losses as something other than the typically poor-quality food, service and hygiene, combined with exhorbitant prices(all that and at least a half-hour or more wait-time!)  Diners will tend to patronize the establishments with which they are satisfied, especially if they deliver!  Fool me once - shame on you!  Fool me twice - shame on me!....Due to a 2000-2001 Federal law, drug convictions have determined rejections, for Federal financial aid, for an average of 1-in-every-400 student applicants!....Recent studies conclude that drinking even one sugared soft-drink, daily, may add up to a weight gain of up to 15  pounds per year!....Myspace.com - since when do minor children have ANY right to participate in this type of service/activity?  Not only is it potentially dangerous, on several levels, but it is merely a disregard to parental authority.  Even supposed 'child-safe' sites, such as imbee.com are dependent upon appropriate parental supervision.  If appropriate supervision existed, it would not matter what site the children frequented!....46% of all prison inmates have at least one relative who has also been in prison!....Arizona voters will soon be asked to decide upon two separate 'anti-smoking' propositions - 201 and 206.  Prop 201(Smoke Free Arizona) is true anti-smoking legislation, as it would ban smoking in virtually all public places in Arizona - as many cities and States are trending towards.  Prop 206 is funded, in large part, by the RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co., and would limit public smoking, but is not nearly as restrictive as Prop 201.   Have you ever walked past a 'Smoker's Section' in a restaurant, or past the front entrance to a store that does not allow employees to smoke anywhere inside?  You gag on the smoke/smell, and your clothes, hair, etc., reek of cigarettes - even with that limited exposure.  Imagine your lungs(and your children's!)  Vote 'NO' on Prop 206.  Vote 'YES' on Prop 201!  Send cigarette smokers packing(Sorry, Bo!)
