Congratulations

     I'm a hero!(Well, my wife says I'm a legend in my own mind, anyway!)  I hope that the word gets around, to all Deer Valley Unified District employees, that if they purchased prescription drugs, at any retail pharmacy - from the July 1st insurance change-over(Aetna to UHC), until August 15th - you were probably charged a deductible plus your co-pay!  Wrong!!!  You should not have been charged a deductible!  Somehow, the wrong information was input into the UHC Pharmacy Claims database, and when I complained that my charges were exorbitant, an internal investigation found the error.  I am expecting a refund, by September 1st, I'm told, but you should check your recent retail pharmacy charges - and if anything other than your normal co-pays were charged, then contact UHC and make sure that all suspect charges are correct!  In the meantime - learn how to use the UHC/MEDCO on-line pharmacy order system, and save big bucks!  And, you're welcome!
