Another 'new' revelation about the value of coffee consumption. Seems several studies, in various countries, indicate that drinking anywhere from one to six cups, daily, can help to prevent the onset of such devastating maladies as liver cirrhosis, diabetes and Parkinson's Syndrome. Even de-caf has positive effects, albeit not nearly as pronounced as the regular variety. Add plenty of cream and sugar, and it may taste as good as it smells, too!
