Wal-Mart pharmacies will be selling hundreds of generic drugs for only $4 per prescription - nationwide, beginning in 2007.  Target pharmacies will price-match.  CVS, Walgreens, etc., will follow or suffer great stock losses!  Think of ALL of the money that ALL of these corporations have taken from ALL of us, and when these corporations claim Wal-Mart's act is no big deal, because this could have been done long ago!....Last week, Valley commuters were purported to be saving 78 seconds in their daily work commutes.  For those wondering how that could possibly be true(it isn't), ADOT now reports that, in fact, commutes have greatly increased - sometimes with virtual gridlock in some areas - and will soon worsen, as more major routes undergo expansion and redesign!....While oil prices have dropped less than 20%, gasoline continues to fall at a rate of much more than that.   Seems that there is no exact correlation been need and greed!....Phoenix is ranked as the 9th safest, among the nation's top-ten largest cities.  New York City, leads the pack, with steep declines in violent crime, while Phoenix officials decry their lowly position, even as violent crimes are drastically and steadily on the increase.  Indignant or indifferent?....Muslim leaders are inviting open dialogue with Catholics, relating to Pope Benedict XVI's recent mention of historical record of the Islamic prophet Mohammed encouraging violence and evil.  How about we meet at a nice little Italian Ristorante in the Bronx - just to talk?....A recent study reports that male drinkers, due to networking, etc., earn more than non-drinkers, and that only after 21 drinks per week will income begin to decline.   The results do not apply to females, depending upon their profession, however!....Border security?  Friends returning from Tucson continue to be amazed at the number of Sonora, Mexico license plates.  And if they are here legally(yeah, sure), think what would happen if you or I did not have up-to-date Arizona plates!....GOP leaders have approved a 700 mile border fence, with limited funding.  I guess they think that they can build the fence for next-to-nothing, if they have Mexican laborers do the work that Americans won't do!....My wife was so pleased that I had been approved for my life insurance policy that she promised to make me her 'special, fresh spinach salad' this weekend!
