Az I See it....
As promised, my political insights:
Governor: I can understand teachers voting to re-elect Janet Napolitano, the only Arizona politician to ever champion their interests. Her stance on Prop 200, however - her blatant disregard for the intentions of the people - and attempting to blame the federal government, citing money, when the State has at least a $600M surplus - is unforgivable, when considering the over-burdened public agencies, ie., schools, hospitals, prisons, social agencies, etc. But Munsil is not the answer!(toss-up!)U.S. Senate: Jon Kyl has repeatedly said that he is experienced in writing immigration legislation, and has fought diligently - for twenty years - to secure our borders. That should be enough of a reason to vote for Pederson. They both have run smear campaigns that are both factual and full of lies, but Pederson is one of the few 'pro-choice' candidates, and will not suck up to the Bush administration, in regards to the war in Iraq. And if he does, we'll get rid of him, too! Kyl has twenty years, by his own admission, and IS part of the problem - not the solution!
Other races: Everyone agrees that the system is broken, and that Congress is doing a pitiful job - but most people always feel that their own representatives are okay! Well, they are not! Vote the incumbents OUT! From the Local to State to National levels! America is ready for a change! Make it happen!
