Barbados is battling an invasion of giant snails, prompting for calls to the government to rid the island of these ravenous, destructive creatures - very much the way that the Republicans view the Democrats!....Nationally, the Democrats will control both Houses of Congress for the first time since 1994.  Upon hearing this, the Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, resigned his position.  Apparently, losing political support was more overwhelming to him than losing the lives of more than 2800 American soldiers!....Hey, listen........can you hear it?  Can you????  It's the sound of laughter.  The sound of the rest of the United States laughing at the people of Arizona!  While those States threw out the bathwater AND the baby, Arizonans decided to keep them both, while changing neither!  Jon Kyl and Rick Renzihave been given their working papers, while John McCain immediately announced the necessity to increase the amount of American troops in Iraq.  Didn't anyone else even notice that the deaths of two more Arizona GI's were not reported until after the polls closed - even though they had occurred days ago?....JD Hayworth is just waiting for someone to realize that Arizonans cannot count, so that he may claim victory over Harry Mitchell.   And Tom Horne?  Well, the worst state in the nation in education has just re-elected the man that has led us to this brink of idiocy!  This really must be a State of illiterates!  The 'powers that be' have this State right where they want it - barefoot, pregnant, and out behind the woodshed!....Sheriff Joe has just graduated the first 25 inmates from his new 'English only' class.  Just in time for them to read that free public services will no longer be given to illegals - at least until Gov. Napolitano declares sovereign rule - again - so that she can garner their votes in 2010!....And, Legislative salaries will remain at $24K per year, as Prop 302 was narrowly defeated!....Smoking in public places will soon cease(Prop 201) - unless you frequent the outside areas of stores, where employees go to 'relieve' themselves!  Maybe now, employers will make their employees go out back to smoke.  It's the courteous way to do business!....And Prop 107 failed, so marriage will not be legally defined as 'between a man and a woman,'  by statute.  You know what they say - Love is blind!  Some people say that marriage is an institution for the blind!
