Az I Eat It....
The Keg Steakhouse & Bar - at Desert Ridge Mall
Axiom - When you go to a steakhouse, order steak. Not too hard to figure! The Daily Specials sounded as good as the regular menu looked, but I was persuaded to stay with the tried-and-true. Three of us ordered the Sirloin Classic dinner, which included oven-hot bread, a bountiful and tasty Dinner or Caesar salad, a side of vegetables(Ugh! Stringbeans and mushrooms), a baked potato(fries, garlic-mashed, or twice-baked as substitute), and a very tender 9 oz. sirloin that was as tender and tasty as a filet mignon($20.95)
Now back to that axiom - someone ordered Barbequed Pork Ribs - and WAS disappointed! He said they were not very tasty, and the extra rib sauce was too runny! I must say, though, that one of 'the guys' ordered the Salmon, with Rice Pilaf, and enjoyed it as well! Surf 'n Turf is typically offered in Steakhouse fare, though, so some good seafood should be expected! Stay away from the pork ribs!
And for dessert - Creme Broulee! Not a very appealing presentation, ie., no fruit or tasty syrup garnishes. Just a small lone leaf(mint?) laying atop a most fresh and deliciously tasting meal-ender! At $5.95, it was certainly worth the experience!
Worth a return - I've not finished tapping that Keg!
