Sandra Dowling, Maricopa County Public Schools Superintendant, has been charged with various felony counts - including fraud - for allegedly misappropriating possibly $1.2M of public funds.  Meanwhile, up the street in Tempe, ASU President Michael Crow, and Athletic Director Lisa Love, have misappropriated $2.85M of taxpayer monies, buying out the contract of football coach Dirk Koetter - after having recently extended his contract through the year 2010 - simply for not being more competitive in the Pac-Ten Conference!  You tell me who should be charged with felony fraud!....NFL RB Edgerrin James  has to regret that he ever signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals, a move that may well cost him numerous potential career records, including Hall of Fame consideration!....Prop 201, recently approved by the Arizona electorate, will take effect May 1, 2007.  That is a good thing, but in reality, the most logical action should be for the State to ban the sale of cigarettes.  The truth is, the tax monies are more important than our health!....Most second-time felony offenders, in Maricopa County, will soon be mandated additional prison time, instead of previously allowable plea bargaining, if the County Attorney has his way.  However, if the culprit is a U.S. Senator, he will automatically be given an additional six-year term in D.C!....A Scottish study has found that most 6-year old children preferred looking at a blank computer screen, rather than a smiling face!  Faces are important social stimuli, so this finding is quite disturbing on so many levels!....Michael Richards was wrong - no doubt about it!  But isn't anyone going to rise up and protest the many comedians - including Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Don Rickles, Wanda Sykes, Sacha Baron Cohen, etc., that are bombarding their audiences with racial, anti-woman, anti-semitic, gay-bashing jokes - and proclaim their rants to be 'humor?!'  No pun intended, Rev. Jackson, but let's call a spade a spade!
