Az I Eat It....
My Big Fat Greek Restaurant - 10625 N. Tatum - NE corner of Tatum and Shea
It was the monthly 'Exclusively' dinner, and also a celebration of my 53rd birthday, and my Mother's 80th!(She doesn't look 80, but she says 'the bones are old!') Recommended by my friends, Steve and Phil, I was not at all hesitant to try this Greek restaurant. Thirteen of us inundated the establishment, and all but one(maybe two) were extremely satisfied(yes, including my Mother!) A variety of entrees were sampled, and the only one not satisfied was Howie(maybe Phyllis, too!), who ordered the Greek Chicken dinner. He sent it back, and said its replacement was just 'okay.' Curious, because Nick ordered the same - and loved it! All entrees were extremely reasonably priced, and portions were more than ample - most took some home!
For dessert, I was allowed to bring a cake that I had purchased at Costco - and it was delicious! A half-sheet - beautifully decorated, with buttercream frosting over white cake, and filled with vanilla cheesecake mousse! My wife and sons loved it - a rarity(and yes, Mom, too - even more rare!)
The waitstaff was overly helpful, but surely short-handed, as we 'stormed the Parthenon' at dinnertime, and they packed them in! No wonder - from now on, it's all Greek to me!

When society requires to be rebuilt, there is no use in attempting to rebuild it on the old plan.
