300 - starring Lena Headey, Gerard Butler and Rodrigo Santoro

     Don't waste your money on this film at the regular theater - spend a little more and experience it at the IMAX.  I wish I had, and now I'll have to go and view it again!  A combination of Braveheart, Sin City and The Last Samurai, this graphic novel(comic book) adaptation surpassed opening box office expectations not for the pre-release hype, but because it is really that good! 

     Not everyone will like this film, due to its graphic sex, violence and gore.  The Iranians already have issued a Jihad because it depicts Persians(Iranis) in a bad light, yet again(and they lose again, too!)  The adult humor, the computer-generated effects, and that it is based in historical fact, all contribute to a superb Hollywood epic that starts 2007 in a great direction!  The near-capacity audience applauded at its conclusion.  300 is a perfect game!
