-The Breast Cancer web-site allows women to obtain free mammograms from sponsors counting the number of visitors to the site, and exchanging them for advertising.  Lately, they are having some troubles meeting their quotas, so please, log-on to:  thebreastcancersite.com  And please forward this to as many people as you can!  It doesn't cost anything, but a minute of your time - and you may even save the life of someone you know!  

     -The Youngtown, Az. AARP Chapter #1, and the Az. Attorney General's office are sponsoring a Shred-a-Thon, in an effort to thwart identity theft.  If you have documents that you would like to have shredded, bring them to the Youngtown Club House, this Saturday, May 5th, from 9:00am to 12 noon.  The Club House is located in the West Valley, just west of 111th Ave, on W. Alabama(half-way between Thunderbird and Peoria.)  All documents will be shredded on-site.  And consider joining the Chapter!  I'm not just a member - I'm the President!

     -All of a sudden, it's news that college textbooks may cost $1000/year.  The bigger story, ignored of course, is that professors, allowed to mandate their own publications, routinely offer updated editions, so that reselling used textbooks is almost impossible.
