The Reel Deal
Fracture(rated 'R') - starring Anthony Hopkins, Ryan Gosling, David Straitham and Rosamund Pike
Ted Crawford(Hopkins) kills his cheating wife, and it is a reluctant prosecutor, Willy Beachum(Gosling) trying to convict him. This is a thriller, in the vein of Hitchcock, but falls far short with a ridiculous ending, considering everything else that has developed. Still, I liked this film - Hopkins was enthralling, as usual, and the beautiful Nikki Gardner(Pike) proved a real distraction to Beachum, in developing the plot. See this on the big screen, and try to put the pieces together!
