-U.S. consumer watchdogs have disclosed that many of the popular bottled water brands are merely public source waters that are filtered - tap water!  So, if your tap water smells and tastes good, then it is probably no different from the purified/drinking water for which you may unnecessarily spend a lot of money.  I was told, however, by the Arrowhead Water Company that Mountain Spring Water must come from private springs, and is NOT the same as from the public water sources that are for 'drinking' or 'purified' water!
