Az I See It....
Iraq has not attained fifteen of the eighteen goals mandated by the U.S. Congress, yet President Bush is still seeking an additional $50B in additional War aid. When a ship sinks - and it IS sinking - all the rats go down with it(Rove, Snow, Gonzales, etc.) - but this Commander refuses to acknowledge that there is a leak!....Bush was in still-decimated New Orleans, to speak about and to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of his Katrina disaster. Terry Goddard) are still on-the-fence, anticipating that appeals may yet be successful, and not wanting to turn away millions of potential votes!....A recent survey suggests that Phoenix has the cheapest downtown parking in the nation. Officials for both assure the public that new units are on the way, and should arrive just in time for Make A Difference Day(October 27th), when milder temperatures will make the difference anyway! These problems should have been assessed, and repairs/replacement completed in the Spring!....Another Arizona student has been suspended for drawing an inappropriate picture, depicting a shooter and a gun, this time in Florence, Az. This type of behavior is outrageous - until it is your child - then it is mere overreaction by school officials. Attorneys are being retained!....And parents are apparently at a loss, when it comes to preventing their teen children from using drugs. Actually, while parents acknowledge that teens do, in fact, use drugs, they seem to be quite convinced that it could not be their child - usually because they claim to be responsible parents, having used drugs themselves, and teaching their teens to only do drugs in the comfort and safety of their own homes - sometimes with their parents!....Arizona is tied with Texas and Kansas, as national leaders, for the biggest increases in DUI-related deaths, and Arizona claims sole possession of first place for increase in extreme DUI-related fatalities. Don't forget the folks that made you what you are today!
