Michael Clayton - starring George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton and Sydney Pollack 

     This spin on Erin Brockovich is a highly charged intellectual thriller.  Clayton(Clooney) is a 'fix-it' for a high-powered NY law firm, and Arthur Eden(Wilkinson), who has been working defense on a class-action case for 15 years, is now on the side of the plaintiffs, and suffers tremendously - both personally and professionally - because of it!  Though the first half-hour can be somewhat confusing(even for genius such as myself), the plot slowly exposes itself - to a great finale, that even the non-genius can appreciate.  Wilkinson will get a Best Supporting Oscar nomination, and Clooney will retain the adoration of his fans - and many more $$$ for his next venture!  You'll love this film - case adjourned!
