Congratulations

     I just returned from Buffalo, New York, where the Muscato Family was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, because my father, Phil, and his brothers, Joe and Sam, were professional boxers, headlining the Western NY sports scene during the 1940's, and putting the city 'back on the map!'  Phil was ranked as high as 2nd in the world(Heavyweight), by Ring Magazine, and fought the likes of Archie Moore, Joe Maxim, and the legendary Rocky Marciano.  Marciano once remarked that Phil was the toughest fighter he had ever faced! 
     Other inductees included NFL GM Bill Polian;  former NBA star Christian Laettner;  former NFL star Darryl Talley;  former LPGA star Patty Jordan;   former PBA star Dick Ciprich;  former NHL star Phil Housley;  former MSL and MISL star Jim May;  former NCAA star, and Buffalo Mayor Tony Masiello; and two local sports and community legends - Tovie Avarice and Joe Foyle.  How much more proud could I be?
