-Teachers prepare to take another hit! With Arizona officials predicting as much as a $3B revenue shortfall, over the next two fiscal years, teacher's salaries will most definitely remain stagnant, as many districts allow for increases solely on availability of additional State funding. Together with continued medical benefit cost increases, you may want to hold off on trading in your 10-year-old vehicle, or buying that new pair of underwear at Christmastime!
-Peoria parents are either too stupid to know better, or really hate their children! Approximately 2,600 parent signatures were presented to the Peoria Unified School Board, requesting that their junior and senior students be exempted from Peoria's strict, closed-campus lunchtime policy. It seems the only way to keep auto insurance premiums lower is to take your kids off of the policy - by getting them killed! Don't you just love 'parental involvement?!'
