Az I See It....

Remember all the letters we were supposed to address to 'Any Wounded Soldier?'  They were to be delivered to GI's in the Middle East.  You know, to cheer them.  Well, due to 9/11 reforms, they've all been destroyed or discarded!....Az. Sen. Jon Kyl is now the Minority Whip, moving him one step closer to his future political aspirations - President of Mexico!....The federal government will bailout many homeowners that sought 1% financing, in the hopes of re-selling in the future with much greater equity.  I feel sorry for homeowners who may have lost their jobs, or otherwise struggle to make ends meet.  For the greedy, I have no sympathy - and neither should the Fed!....Mitt Romney explained away his Mormon religion by saying he will serve the nation, not his church.  Every president since Kennedy has said that, and then they nominate Supreme Court Justices based upon their personal and religious beliefs.  And there could be a few Court openings in the next four to eight years!  Women who will vote for Romney should wear burkhas!....Some youths in Mexico are trying to set a world record, by constructing a 29-mile clothesline.  If successful, it may offer another alternative for getting past the soon-to-be border wall!....Buying 'green' costs a lot of green.  In a slow economy, with growing poverty, our wealthy leaders are asking consumers to carry the burdens created by greedy corporations.  I'm green - with envy!....Az. Rep. Steve Farley(D - Tucson) will again attempt to ban the use of handheld cellphones in motor vehicles, comparing the distraction to be the equivalent of .08 BAC impairment.  The same is true of many self-created distractions, ie., eating, talking, smoking, iPods, etc.  His efforts will fail - again!....In Arizona, Mia and Angel are the #1 names for newborn girls and boys.  As of January 1st, when employers must hire only legal residents, expect a return to Anne and Michael!....Comedian Dick Gregory spoke at the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, critiquing race, culture and media.  Can you imagine a Greater Phoenix White Chamber of Commerce - guested by Don Imus?
