- Look for newly installed highway signs, designed to let you know how long your interstate wait should be. Officials claim they may cut 'one or two minutes' off of your typical commute. They were bid much less expensive than adding new lanes. And expect new HOV lanes, which are traveled by a mere 5% of drivers - those who are fortunate enough to live near someone who works with them, and have a similar family-life schedule! 'They' just don't get 'it' - do they!
