- Three contractors were asked to bid to rebuild infrastructure in the most dangerous, war-torn sections of Iraq. The first contractor bid $1M, and the federal representative was pleased. The second contractor bid $2M, raising concern from the G-man. The third contractor bid $3M - for the same job - with the same specs! When asked why his bid was so much higher, he explained, "One million for you, one million for me, and we hire the first contractor to do the job for one million dollars!"
