Az I AARP It....
- While I was in Buffalo, I had the honor, and fortunate coincidence, to attend the 25th Anniversary celebration meeting of Chapter #3526 - which included two Charter members, two Mayors, my Mother-in-law, a City Court Judge(whose father had been my high school math teacher), a NY State AARP representative, an Alderman, and a Niagara County Legislator - among others!
I was graciously and enthusiastically welcomed by the membership, and Chapter President Delores Roy, and I was asked to speak to the members. It was a great experience, as I further develop my interests in AARP, and I hope to return, and visit other Chapters, as my national travels continue!
- Governor Janet Napolitano finally joins a short list of politicians who agree to pledge agreement and commitment with Divided W Fail! Have you signed the pledge? You do not have to be an AARP member to do so. For more information, log-on to: aarp.org
