- The Phoenix Suns defeated the San Antonio Spurs, marking progress/success in the O'Neal trade. The biggest disappointment was the celebration of the Latino community, by having the players' jerseys display 'Los Suns' and 'Los Spurs' - instead of simply 'Suns' and 'Spurs.' It probably did not seem relevant that few 'Latinos,' in Phoenix or San Antonio, could afford to attend any NBA games!
