- The 50th Annual AARP convention will be in Washington, DC, from September 4th thru the 6th.  Already scheduled to speak are poet/author Maya Angelou, sexuality expert Dr. Laura Berman, singer/author Judy Collins, musician/producer Quincy Jones, actress/author Shirley MacLaine, HOF baseball player Cal Ripken, singer/guitarist Gene Simmons(Kiss), and MSNBC's Tucker Carlson('Tucker')  Scheduled to perform - Chicago!  More speakers and performers will be announced, as contracts are confirmed.  Don't miss this gala celebration!

- The next general membership meeting of AARP Chapter #1 - Youngtown, Az - will be on Friday, April 4th, at 5:30pm, and will be a POTLUCK dinner.  Please coordinate, with your caller, what you will bring to the table!
