- The No Child Left Behind law will soon be eased, with a 10-state trial program, to allow the states to do exactly what Arizona does - differentiate and (mis)label degrees of failure, and sanctions - among its schools. As a result, Tom Horne will now be federally enabled to continue Arizona's nationally renowned, sub-standard educational practices!
- California has ruled against home schooling, unless the parents are legally certified. Dissenting parents countered with, "Se habla Espanol?"
- In related news, Arizona parents, who must have state 'certification,' as a condition of home-schooling, have found that the easiest way to pass the certification test is to read the menu at Wendy's!
