La Perla Mexican Restaurant - N. 59th Ave. & W. Glendale
The waitress prefaced our orders by informing us that a new cook was in the midst of his first day on the job. She didn't say, but I think it must have been Wang-Lung, from HBO's Deadwood series, because there wasn't even one item that wasn't awful! Bland, over-cooked, and just generally bad! The service was slow-to-non-existent, and the terrible Karaoke was extremely loud(no extra charge!) If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican fare, you'd be better to try Del Taco!
