- The best April Fool's joke ever, in a public school setting:
In the aftermath of months-long, heated discussions, denials, and decisions about the the possibility/probability of closing Deer Valley Middle School, at the end of this May, an 'altered' Special Board Meeting Agenda' was circulated on the DVMS campus, and everyone - including an unsuspecting Principal - were cussing and spitting over the 'secret' actions of a suspect school board.
Only after it was noted that the Tuesday meeting date happened to be April 1st, did all victims - including myself - breathe a sigh of relief - and laughter. Afterwards, the Coroner determined that Steve never saw the shot coming!
