Az I see It....
- Irish Blessing - May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun and find your shoulder to light on - to bring you luck, happiness, and riches - today, tomorrow and beyond!
- In Austria, a 42-year old woman was held captive, in a secret room, with no access to the outside world, for more than 24 years. In Arizona, we call these victims 'teachers!'
- When people in Mexico apply for Welfare, their government officials issue them a map of Arizona!
- Arizona's illegal immigrants are pleading for their civil rights to be honored. Well, they have NO civil rights, as they are not U.S. citizens. They do have human rights, and those ARE being honored!
- John McCain says that we should only leave Iraq upon 'securing our interests.' In the meantime, Iraq has earned $70B from oil profits, this year, and the U.S. taxpayers have doled out another $200B for McCain's 'interests,' while Bush now prepares his 'parting shot' - declared war with Iran!
- The Democratic Party is being divided by the competition between Sens. Clinton and Obama. I whole-heartedly agree that Obama should step aside, in favor of Clinton. Doesn't ANYONE remember how prosperous the U.S. was under Bill Clinton's 8-year administration?
- Thirty-one of the fifty-three teen girls(ages 13 to 17) at the Texas FLDS compound have either given birth, or are now pregnant, by much older men, yet these suspected fathers remain free. Now, it seems that abuse of the young boys may also have occurred. None of the 400 children should be returned to their mothers until all of the suspected men have been removed from the compound, and the women receive the appropriate counseling to exist in the real world!
- The Avondale, Az. police department is 'considering' adding semi-automatic weapons to their arsenal. Seems long overdue, considering the overwhelming gang, drug and illegal immigrant violence in the SW Valley.
- Arizona's public smoking ban is now one year old. The public is being told that initial surveys are mixed, in regards to restaurant survivability. In truth, most restaurants would be thriving, if not for the politically manipulated economy, which forces people to make choices between basic necessities and frivolous and/or recreational spending - with not much of a compromise possible!
- A father is someone who carries pictures where his money used to be!
- Italian Blessing - Fuggedaboudit!
