Az I See It....

Prologue:  Why is it that children can afford the drugs on the street, but parents cannot afford the drugs sold at the pharmacy?

International:  An update on the Saudi death decree - A senior Saudi official sought to clarify his decision that it is permissible to kill those responsible for immoral movie and television programming.  He explained, "They should not be killed, but rather brought to trial, convicted, and then executed."  He then apologized for any perceived confusion!....Swedish research reports that chocolate may be good for pregnant women - but not for women who just look like they are pregnant!

National:  If you listen closely to Republican presidential campaign talk, the War in Iraq is never mentioned, but only the 'Reconstruction Effort!'....The private lives of presidential candidates, and their families, is 'off limits' - except that if you are Black, then White people will not vote for you!....John McCain did not invent the BlackBerry, as one of his senior staffers implied.  He did, however, once eat a blackberry - thinking it was caviar.  He immediately spit it out saying, "This tastes too middle-class!"....McCain's Big-Talk Express is proud to spend more than $10B per month for a questionable war, but allows for millions of Americans to live at, or near, the poverty level - with no health care, affordable housing, or proper nutrition!....Sen. McCain's rationalized response to his not knowing how many houses he owns, because they belong to his wife, was simply to "cover his assets!"

State/Local:  Arizona received the 5th-lowest amount of federal grant money for low-income energy assistance, for 2008-09, angering Gov. Napolitano.  Sen. McCain, who shuns federal entitlements, forcing the state legislature to alter budget priorities, said, "Yeah, that's what I'm Straight-Talkin' 'bout!"....A $1B resort and convention center complex, including a golf course, hotels, restaurants, amusement areas and parks, will be built in Mesa, Az.  The first phase will be the construction of tunnels from the Mexican border, so that employees will have easy and safe access to the facilities!....Harkin's Theaters are celebrating their 75th anniversary.  As part of their commitment to Arizona culture and life-style, Dan Harkins promises to keep ticket and concession prices just under those of New York and Los Angeles, calling it "Harkins On Demand!"

Epilogue:  Sex is not the answer.  Sex is the question.  "Yes!" is the answer!
