Az I Teach It....

- The nation's top educators are concerned with the proliferation of text-message terminology and its effects on language skills. They are, evidently, no longer concerned with e-bonics, or other forms of unintelligible language!

- Arizona students fared poorly on the first ever AIMS Science tests.  Stupid-Intendent Tom Horne was not concerned, saying that the outcomes would soon be improved, when he installs lower passing scores and dumbed-down questions!

- Visitors to all public schools must sign-in to the Administration office, when entering a campus - except after-school hours, when activities are generally unsupervised and the general public is welcomed - without any scrutiny!

- Arizona State University ranked 121st of 262, in being a 'valued university.'  Rankings are based mostly on how other universities perceive each other, the number of returning freshmen, student-earned degrees, and and faculty resources.  While the University of Arizona was upset at being ranked only 96th, ASU officials were offended that their 'Always-in-the-Top-Ten party-school' ranking was not considered to be an asset!
