Az I Teach It....

- Arizona is about to take another giant leap backward, in educating its youth.  Remember the CAT, ITBS, etc?  When it was determined that a majority of students could not achieve satifactory test scores, the State eliminated them -
one-by-one, until we now have AIMS.  And since the AIMS passing standards have been much-lowered, and the tests made so simple that 99.4% of students pass them - many as early as their first attempt(October of their sophomore year!), Arizona may soon eliminate this testing, also!  Arizona administrators are hopeful that the federal government may mandate a particular test for high school seniors, eliminating multiple, expensive testing, and the embarrasment of having some of the worst standard achievement, annualy, as compared to other states.  'You only gets what you truly AIMS for!'
