With no additional income sources available, other than dwindling gasoline tax revenue, isn't it about time to demand that Senator-Inept McCain obtain an earmark grant from our federal tax dollars? Remember Alaska's $23M Road-to-Nowhere? Palin's hotter than Napolitano!....If the payday loan industry is eliminated in 2010, as scheduled, it is estimated that 2,500 industry employees would then need payday loans. Credit unions are preparing to make short-term loans more available and affordable. Their interest rates and fees are more consumer-friendly, and their default rates are reportedly extremely low, according to credit union officials!
Local: Maricopa County workers are each eligible for a $25 gift card bonus, for offering savings and savings ideas for county budgets. Unfortunately, the more than 28,000 employees may cost the county more than $700K, at a time when a $58B shortfall is expected!

Ref; Local County Gift cards: What they didn't tell you is that this program is already in place and the key word in this is "ELIGIBLE", many county employees do not receive a single gift card, while others receive several....
