- Peoria will host a turkey-themed fun walk, for those aged 50 and older.  The 11th Annual Turkey Trot will be at Rio Vista Community Park on Wednesday, November 19th.  Registration($15.00) includes a pancake breakfast, giveaways, and entertainment.  Call 623-773-7436

- The next meeting of AARP Chapter #1 will be Friday, December 5th, at 5:30pm, in the Youngtown Council Chambers.  A potluck dinner will be followed by the Installation of Officers/Directors for 2009.  All AARP national members are welcome to attend.  For information, call Arky Muscato at 623-362-0605
