Az I Teach It....

- With the state budget expecting a multi-billon dollar deficit, and school district unification no longer an option, many Arizona districts will now explore a 4-day week as a possible cost-cutting solution.  Teachers would still work on the fifth day - planning, etc. - and duplicated administrators would be still be allowed to receive their exhorbitant salaries and benefits.  Utilities, transportation, food, and classified/maintenance expenses would be less. AIMS tests passing scores would adjusted lower to account for any drop-off in student achievement!  It's academic!
