Az I Use It....

- Phoenix auto thefts, always among the highest nationally, are again og concern as the Holiday Season approaches.  Police officials recommend the following, to deter criminal activity:  Lock your vehicle;  avoid unattended or poorly lit lots/areas;  close your windows;  never leave keys inside;  utilize alarms, locking devices, VIN number etchings, kill-switches, smart keys, and tracking devices.  Any layered protection attempts will deter most criminals from selecting your vehicle for their crimes!

- US Airways, with rapidly decreasing fuel expenses, will retroactively reinstate its frequent flier loyalty program perks, but will continue charging fees for checked baggage, soft drinks, and pilot DUI defense attorney funds!

- The United Auto Workers union and General Motors have announced that they have bridged the gap in production costs, as compared to foreign manufacturers.  Actually, with salary and benefits, the cost is approximately $73/hour for American cars versus $46/hour for imports.  Foreign makers refuse to allow unionization, pay no retirement and have poor medical coverage - along with much lower hourly wages - many of the reasons that unions began in the first place!  GM would lay-off more than 239,000 employees, if production must shut down - and other automotive-dependent industries would have to follow suit.  It's time to cover your Yaris!
