Az I See It....

Prologue:  Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement!

International:  Telephone calls, from those attempting to get information on their loved ones, after the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, have been re-routed to a call center in Tibet, China!

National:  President Bush pardoned the White House turkey, prompting Vice President Dick Cheney to protest that the pardon was premature, as he had only been indicted, and not yet convicted!....The Ford Fusion, and 16 other Ford vehicles, were cited as being among the safest - having had the least crashes in 2008, no doubt because most of them had been in the repair shop and not on the roads!

State:  Many more tunnels, from Mexico to Arizona, typically used for drug and human smuggling, are being dicovered, daily.  The biggest tunnel, the Arizona Legislature, continues to operate with full cooperation from the Governor's office!....Highway speed cameras, a fund raising method to balance the State budget, concocted by Gov. Janet Napoleon, have been legally challenged as being an unconstitutional tax - not being criminal conduct, and not having been voted upon by the citizens or the State Legislature.  Get the picture?

Local:  The Deer Valley Middle School staff and friends, and Fry's Food & Drugstore(83rd Avenue and West Deer Valley Road) assisted nine(9) families that otherwise would not have been able to have a Thanksgiving Day meal!....Two major charities - the Virginia Piper, and Nina Mason Pulliam Trusts - considering the current economic crisis, have decided that their many millions of donated dollars would be directed to emergency needs, instead of buildings and other long-term goals, for the foreseeable future!....The families of two Walmart employees, killed by a mentally ill man who was taken off his medications by his healthcare company eight months prior to the shootings, have been awarded $36M.  Promising 'Low Prices - Always' the families will receive $159.99 each, after attorney's fees!

Epilogue:  People are so worried about what they eat between Thanksgiving Day and the New Year, but they should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Thanksgiving Day!
