- The Peoria Unified School District has delayed a vote on accepting a contract renewal for the Smartschoolsplus Retirement Program. Evidently some Board members cannot understand how the district saves money by sub-contracting for highly-skilled, veteran teachers who have earned the right to continue working under such vicious scrutiny of their wages and benefits!
- More children are resorting to herbal/alternative remedies than ever before, instead of typically prescribed pharmaceuticals. As a result, marijuana rehab is up 25%, as well as sales of Doritos and Cheetos!
