Az I Use It....
- The Holiday Season is in full swing - and yes - it begins with Christmas, a full-fledged National Holiday - and we consumers must be even more vigilant in protecting ourselves. Case-in-point: Nick took his Acura for an oil change/check-up, and learned that his battery had failed the charge test. Upset because he had replaced the battery only a few months earlier, he brought it back to Sears for another replacement. Imagine his surprise, when he was told that he would have to pay full price for the replacement, because it was the original Acura battery!
After showing his original service paperwork, including the itemization that the battery had indeed been replaced(supposedly) and paid for, the embarrassed Service Manager immediately replaced the battery(really, this time!), and profusely apologized. Nick was lucky he had not broken down somewhere along line, so learn from his experience, and make sure you get what you pay for - before you get all charged-up for nothing!
- Correction: It was not Steve who informed me of the Fresh and Easy $6.00 Off coupons(unless Steve complains that it was!), but rather it was Nick - yeah, the same Nick as in the above true story! And the latest offer from www.freshandeasy.com is a coupon for a FREE, reusable, cloth grocery bag!
- Another reminder to contribute to your local public and private schools, as well as to the Military Family Relief Fund, and claim your Arizona tax credits, and Federal tax deductions, as well as to other worthy charitable organizations, by December 31st. January 1st is too late! And you'll feel good, too!
