- Remember - February 17th is the day that all major television stations must broadcast on a digital bandwidth, and your television antenna will no longer receive an analog signal. If you subscribe to any form of cable/satellite service, then you need not worry. However, many people do not realize that they may have TV sets that will be affected. If you own a portable, or hand-held TV, if you ever use another residence without cable coverage, or if you take one boating or camping, etc., your set will no longer receive a signal.
