Az I Play It....
- The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, and will now play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII, Tampa, Florida, on February 1st. I admit, I would never have thought they could even make the playoffs, let alone play in the Super Bowl, but some prominent sportscasters were adamant that this was the 'worst team ever to make the playoffs!' Congratulations to the Arizona Cardinals and their fans.
- Okay, here's my Cardinals Caveat: Since the NFL doesn't release many tickets to fans, and recruits volunteers to staff their most profitable annual event, miser(not mister) Bill Bidwill should allow University of Phoenix Stadium to be opened, with a $10 general admission($20 if he wants!), so that fans can watch the big game on the Jumbo-Tron. What an exciting, fan-friendly venue this would be! Charge $5.00 for parking, and open the concessions, as during the regular season. And DONATE the profits to charity(NOT the Bidwill Family Charity.) Since the taxpayers gave him the stadium, it's time for him to give back to the taxpayers - and it won't cost him a dime!
