- The NFL has commanded that there shall be no corporate sponsored, Super Bowl viewing parties, because they would diminish television ratings, and therefore limit advertising exposure. I don't think so! If fans are watching on a Jumbo-Tron, they would see all of the commercials. I think that the NFL simply wants control of ALL revenue streams, which is why they recruit more than 10,000 volunteers for each Super Bowl.
Here's what I propose, for all of the loyal fans who agree that the NFL is depriving them of a better Super Bowl experience: Watch and enjoy the game - and all of its commercials(they're typically the best of the year), then make a list of all of the advertisers and vow to boycott all of their products. Sack the NFL, by hitting it in its pocketbook!
- Carol went to the sporting goods store to buy a rifle. "It's for my husband," she said. "Did he tell you what gauge to get?" asked the clerk. "Are you kidding," said Carol. "He doesn't even know I'm going to shoot him!"
