- Many municipalities, including those in Arizona(ie., Phoenix, Mesa), have tens of millions of dollars in 'rainy day funds,' yet are opting to not utilize them to their fullest, in lieu of layoffs and massive budget reductions!
- It is estimated that $100B could be saved, annually, if federal, state, and local governments would print legal documents in English only, and make alternative languages available on-line only!
- There are four things to ask a person to do, if you suspect them of having a stroke:
1. Smile 2. Talk 3. Raise both arms 4. Stick out their tongue(crooked is bad!)
If they cannot do them, then dial 9-1-1 immediately(Thank you, Paul!)
- Since 2006, tires must display the week and year of manufacture as the last number on the visible rim of the tire, ie., 22-06
If the number is not visible, your tire is older than a 2006 model, and even if you purchased it recently as 'brand new,' it may have dry rot, and be subject to separation of tread at highway speeds - putting your lives in serious danger!(Thanks, Mark!)
