Az I AARP It....
- Money isn't everything, but it sure keeps the kids in touch!
- The next meeting of AARP Chapter #1, in Youngtown, Az., will be on Friday, March 6th, beginning with a potluck dinner at 5:30pm, followed by a presentation from Stu Starky, on the effects of the Az. legislature's budget appropriations on education!
- Mark your calendars! Saturday, April 18th, will be the next Annual Shred-a-Thon, hosted by AARP Chapter #1, the Arizona Attorney General's Office, and the Town of Youngtown, Az. A shredder will be on-site, and available to the general public for $1.00/business-sized box or bag. This event will be from 8am until 12noon, and volunteers are needed. Please call me at 623-362-0605, if you are able to assist!
- God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked....the good fortune to run into the ones that I do....and the eyesight to tell the difference!
