Az I See It....
Prologue: Well, I'm told that any subscribers with a cox.net e-mail address are still not receiving my publications. I am working on it, and hope to have it resolved soon!
National: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has withheld data from the general public since 2003 - data citing the serious dangers involved with cellphone usage while driving, including lack of focus while using hands-free models - and secreted the data, even as frequent 'gloom and doom' updates were provided to wireless providers! Wireless telecommunications companies have responded that the data provided to them can only be portrayed as 'unclear.' Meanwhile, their lobbyists spent many millions of dollars to keep the data quiet, ie., almost 4 million accidents, 250,000 injuries, and almost 1,000 deaths! Can you hear me now!?!
State: Apache Junction has been recognized as one of the best retirement locations in the country. Yeah, right! It took two full days to restore power to this sleepy town of 32,000 residents, after a typical monsoon dust storm passed through - leaving residents and businesses without AC in 110 degree daily temperatures!
Local: Mesa's Police Chief, George Gascon, is finally leaving, to become Chief of Police in San Francisco, Ca., which he has already declared will be a 'sanctuary city' for illegal immigrants. Good riddance!
Epilogue: Every older Republican that I've spoken with considers universal health care to only be possible in a socialized medicine program, instead of merely a single-payor system, but all agree that every legal American citizen should have access to the same medical benefits as members of the U.S. Congress!
