At an EPA estimated 230mpg(only 40 miles on a full-charge), a new 2010 Chevrolet Volt should 'pay-for-itself' by the time your as-yet unborn grandchildren graduate from college!....Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Homeland Insensibility, has announced $30M in grants, to Texas, California, and Arizona, to thwart illegal drugs, weapons and ammunition from entering into the country. Still, no monies have been mentioned to thwart illegal immigrants entering the country!....Recent revealings of the Bush White House proceedings suggest that George W. was a fan of Richard Nixon, even mimicking his famous 'I am not a crook!'
State/Local: Most crime rates have dramatically declined during the past five years, according to the recent Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas' report, even though the county population grew by more than eleven percent. While Thomas only 'suggested' that a 30% drop in illegal immigration is a factor, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department claimed that 'no data suggests any specific correlation.' Yes, folks - Phoenix remains a sanctuary city in practice.(Yay! for Sheriff Joe Arpaio!)....Arizona education receives another failng grade - by specific example. A 14-year-old Surprise student(Dysart Unified District) brought an allegedly unloaded gun to Desert Moon Middle School, threatening to 'shoot the Principal, and hold him hostage until his demands are met - 'A' grades for his friends, and longer recess periods.' Does that sound like attaining Adequate Yearly Progress to you?
