- Okay - my annual Arizona Cardinals prediction, and I know it's a bit premature:
The Cardinals should win both games against the SF 49ers, and both against St. Louis Rams. They will defeat Detroit, Houston and Seattle(at home.) They will lose to Jacksonville, Indianapolis, Seattle(away), NY Giants, Carolina, Chicago, Tennessee, Minnesota, and Green Bay. Depending on injuries, some of these outcomes may be reversed(it plays both ways), but at best - with their more difficult schedule(a result of finishing 2nd in the NFL last season) - they will finish the 2009 season at W -8; L - 8, and a possibility of beating out the Seattle Seahawks for a playoff berth, as division winners - but not as a Wild Card entry! Sorry, Cards' fans, but this lightning will NOT strike twice!
