Az I See It....

Prologue:  An intelligence test sometimes shows a person how smart they would have been not to have taken it! - Laurence J. Peter

International:  The Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at former President George W. Bush was released, after serving a 9-month sentence.  Never admitting that what he did was wrong, he has since expressed interest in the ever-popular competition of cow chip throwing!....Iran will allow upcoming talks to include their nuclear activities - as long as there is no opposition to their building a nuclear bomb!....The United Nations may intervene in the case of the mis-gendered track athlete.  Meanwhile, people around the world continue to experience oppression, discrimination and religious persecution.  Maybe if they suffered from athlete's feet!

National:  Republican representatives are upset that none of their amendments have been included in the present healthcare reform bill, and are claiming Democratic Party partisanship, and that they are being left out and ignored.  Maybe their amendments are just no good for the sake of American citizens!....News that U.S. family incomes plunged by more than 3.5%, in 2008, is in stark - but expected - contrast to recent reports that corporate profits are up - based on employee and payroll/benefit cuts!....Renowned foot-in-mouth (c)rapper, Kanye West, again showed no sense of direction, ruining the moment for Best Female Video recipient Taylor Swift, at the recent MTV Music Video Awards.  He ran on stage, and proclaimed that Beyonce Knowles should have won, because 'her video was one of the best ever!'  You think THAT was bad, he then attended Patrick Swayze's funeral, and proclaimed, "Michael Jackson's was better!"

State/Local:  Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is included in a task force attempting to reform Arizona government, including creating the position of Lt. Governor - elected from the same political party as the Governor;  making the position of Public School Superintendent an appointment of the Governor - instead of an elected position;  and splitting the present thirty(30) State House districts into sixty(60), with only one representative per district, instead of two.  Actually, we'd be better of if we kept only thirty districts and kept only one representative per district!....Friends of Basha's are urging the public to shop at Basha's-owned establishments, in order to stave-off bankruptcy proceedings.  No matter the outcome, the process began with Basha's own non-competitive pricing and corporate greed!  I shopped almost exclusively at Basha's, until Fry's and Walmart prices made Basha's a non-issue!

Epilogue:  LEGALLY reduce your credit card debts - PAY THEM!
